Positive Product Points Beautiful design and production, incredible ease of use and excellent, consistent shots. Capsules allow access multiple shots using different mixtures, and to ensure fresh, perfectly smooth. Vapor powerful. Negative Product Points capsules are expensive, only available through Nespresso, and limit its range (although they are excellent and there are about a dozen to choose from, plus the special edition mix). No hot cup. Detailed Comment Like other critics of the Nespresso coffee machine, I was skeptical of the whole system capsule. I did not like the expense of having to purchase it or exclusively through Nespresso. I did not like the idea of just being able to use Nespresso coffee, either. There are local roasters here in Seattle, which I prefer, and with the support Nespresso system, I can not buy their coffee. I never thought I would buy a Nespresso. However, I was in a high-end Italian furniture store in my neighbothood and had a brand new design Richard Sapper Alessi Coban at half price. My only excuse is that I am easily seduced by beauty, I suppose. The machine is impressive, and very well done (in Switzerland). One thing you really have to give Nespresso is concerned with the design. Its line includes some real visitors, but this to me is the most beautiful. Also, the body is aluminum glazing and everything has a solid feel (without being too heavy) the finish is very good. I had tried a shot of a of these machines before and was very impressed … so I thought "why not?" and bought the machine. I've had for a week and I am happy to say that I do not regret at all. I've never done much coffee in a week and I can not sleep anymore, I thought to write a comment! The machine comes with four boxes of 10 capsules each for you to sample. It would have been nice to have a sampling of all 12 blends available raw so I knew to order. In place my first order I ordered a sampler of all mixes. I imagine that after going to reduce it to my favorites. The package also includes two cups of espresso Alessi and saucers, and a tool kit Maintanance / de-scale. The machine makes it so quick and easy to get a shot very well, I still can not believe it. A review of others, said this was a great thing for her, not because it is vague, but because she is very, very busy. Well, I'm too busy, but I'm very, very lazy. And I do not really like all the effort and especially concerned with cleanliness making (espresso drinks especially milk) at home. With the Nespresso, just pop in the capsule, pull the shot, throw away the capsule, and that's about it. It's so simple to use, no I really feel the need to comment on the instruction booklet, that's pretty good anyway. He throws perfect shots on this computer in minutes. And almost no cleaning. Also the machine is warming faster that can easily pull a lot of shots in succession, if you have the company. The temperature is perfect and the shots are totally consistent. And if one of your guests want try another mix, or you want decaf, or whatever, it's no problem at all as long as you have the capsules in his hand. So it's great. Of course, capsules cost 50 cents each, so you pay for convenience. But Nespresso makes it very easy for them, and come to you quickly. In Europe, the city New York and I think there Nespresso boutiques, where I guess you can go look for the capsules. That would be fine, but no shops in Seattle. There are twelve short espresso blends or long, and there are varieties, especially of season too. The capsules are all-aluminum and sealed to keep the coffee very sweet. It also ensures that you will always a perfect routine. I think it's the best thing about them. There are lots of shmancy fancy accessories available through Nespresso, if you want to really get into it — this product is clearly intended to have some snob appeal. That does not impress me much, but the quality of the coffees and the shots really. The cream is very nice, the temperature is right, and coffee is rich and flavorful.
