Trying to make a strawberry as White Russia, what can I use to replace Kahlua so no turns black?
I'm trying to invent a drink based off of a white Russian, instead of milk, strawberry milk and strawberry vodka (Stoli). I fear the Kahlua, with red strawberry milk, will an attractive color (waterish swamp?), so I'm trying to find a suitable substitute for Kahlua. I know that Bailey is lighter, but I fear that even going to be very serious for the future. I ideally want a white cream or red with an alcohol content above the 15%, there is nothing like this already available there? Is it possible to get the taste of coffee liquor in a drink like this without becoming a gross looking color? Finally, if I had to use a common liquor for a like beverage amaretto (, triple sec, etc.) that one would be best? I welcome all ideas on the formulation of this drink!
